Hiko Fritz-Krockow

Owner and manager of TennisLink.

I am a PTR-certified and experienced tennis instructor. I began teaching tennis in 1990 at various tennis facilities in Maryland, mainly in the junior programs. I continued teaching tennis in Barbados where we lived for 2 years. At about that time, I began focusing on the training of our 2 daughters Mariko and Emmy, and in later years I traveled extensively with them to international tennis tournaments as they reached high international tennis rankings. They played in the most prestigious international tournaments, including the US Open Junior and Wimbledon, and then accepted athletic scholarships at U.S. universities.
As a tennis instructor, I have always taken great pride in improving players at different levels and help them reach their potential. I am enthusiastic, intense, and take great care of each player's development path.
As a tennis player, I was ranked #12 in the U.S. in 2006 in my age group and was ranked #1 in the U.S. in 2005 with my daughter Mariko, playing mother-daughter doubles. 

I was ranked #1 in the Mid-Atlantic section in the 35' and 40' age group 2007. In 2008, I attended again the PTR International Coaches' Symposium and won the 45' singles and 35' doubles tournaments, which were held as part of the one-week event in Hilton Head.

Ibardo Zambrano

Ibardo, a nice young wonderful tennis player and teacher, helped us a lot during the 2007 season after Dan Kelly left TennisLink. He works at NIH and will help us during some evenings and weekends.
